Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology Program
Many times in my life, when challenges have risen, I've leaned on caring people around me, including some incredible counsellors and therapists. We often heal through the relationships we build and nurture with others. My journey toward counselling began in classrooms while I was working as a high school teacher. I quickly realized that the bond I built with my students not only contributed to their success, but often helped them through difficult times. I have also seen the power of holding space for other people in my work as a yoga instructor. Truly connecting with others is part of how we work through the difficult times in our lives.
When we work together through whatever challenges you are facing, my primary goal is to connect with you by being fully present, positive, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Together we will choose a therapeutic approach that works for you and begin moving you toward the peace and happiness you desire.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change”
