Grief impacts everyone differently and children, who may be experiencing grief for the very first time, might have difficulty understanding and expressing the full impact of their loss. Parents and caregivers may struggle to know how to support the children in their lives as they move through their own process of grief.
Heartstrings is an interactive and supportive group for grieving children ages 6 to 12 who have experienced the loss of an immediate family member or close friend. Within this small group format, grief-related art projects, play activities, and other therapeutic tools will help children make their way through their grieving process while remembering and honouring their loved one. Children will learn invaluable life skills for dealing with emotions and find healing in a safe and supportive environment.

We will require a credit card on file at the time of registration*.
You will be charged the entire program fee 2 weeks before the start of the program (or the next business day). Once the full program fee is charged, it is non-refundable.
You will not receive a receipt when the full program fee is charged to your credit card. You will receive individual invoices after each session. This is important because for insurance purposes**, your provider may require a separate invoice for each session, rather than the full receipt for payment provided at registration.
