Adolescent / Teen
You might be feeling pressure from school, family, or the weight of figuring out who you are. Maybe you are not sure anyone really gets it. I offer a space where you don’t have to perform or pretend. We will go at your pace. You decide what to talk about, or we can start with what is hard to put into words. I won’t try to fix you. I will listen, ask honest questions, and help you make sense of what is going on underneath.Couples
You may feel like you are having the same argument over and over. Or maybe the silence has grown louder than any words either of you could say. I work with couples to slow down the patterns that keep you disconnected and help you find your way back to each other. I draw from Gottman, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Relational Life Therapy to give us practical tools and deeper understanding. We will explore what is underneath the conflict: the fears, the longings, the bids for connection that keep getting missed. You don’t have to figure this out alone. Together, we will build a foundation for repair and new ways of showing up for each other.Family
When one person in a family struggles, the whole system feels it. You may be navigating conflict between parents and children, adjusting to a blended family, or trying to find your way back to each other after something has broken. I work with families to slow down the reactive cycles, to hear what is really being said beneath the arguments, and to rebuild trust. I don’t take sides. I help each person feel heard while we work toward what will serve everyone. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a space where everyone can speak honestly and feel safe doing it.
Pre-Marriage Counselling
You are choosing to build a life with someone. That is an act of hope and courage. Pre-marital counselling is not about predicting whether you will succeed. It is about building a foundation strong enough to hold whatever comes. We will explore your communication patterns, your conflict styles, your hopes and fears, and the families you came from. We will ask the hard questions now, so you don’t have to stumble into them later. I draw from Gottman and attachment-based approaches, but at its heart, this is simply an invitation to know each other more deeply before you take this next step. You don’t need to have perfect answers. You just need a willingness to be honest.Sexuality
Coming home to yourself, fully and authentically, is one of the most courageous journeys a person can take. Whether you are exploring your gender identity, questioning your sexuality, navigating coming out, or simply seeking a space where you do not have to explain or justify who you are, I offer affirming, compassionate support. My work is culturally informed, trauma-aware, and rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own identity. My role is not to guide you toward any particular destination, but to walk alongside you as you discover, claim, and celebrate the truth of who you are.
