Life can be full of profound joy, love, purpose, and wonder, but it can also hold deep suffering, uncertainty, anguish, and disconnection. We are not meant to carry these experiences alone.
At certain times, we may seek therapy to help us navigate the challenges that life brings our way.
I believe healing can happen. I believe it unfolds through relationship, self-understanding, and reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that have been lost, forgotten, or silenced. Through this process, we can begin to reclaim the life we wish to live.
It takes courage to take meaningful steps toward healing, and I am honoured to walk alongside you in that process.
What can you expect from working with me? Warmth, curiosity, deep presence, and the space and time to breathe, connect, and simply be human. Sometimes what life brings us can feel unbearable — at other times, it’s a quiet feeling that something isn’t quite right. Whatever you are going through, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can explore what is happening in your life, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
My work is informed by current research on trauma, relationships, and the mind-body connection, as well as practical, evidence-based approaches that support meaningful change. Because no two people are the same, I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, supporting you in ways that align with your goals, strengths, and circumstances.
Together, we can explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and support greater self-understanding and well-being both in and beyond the therapy room. My role is to walk alongside you in this process. I offer guidance while gently pointing you back to the wisdom, resilience, and insight that already exist within you.
My background includes training in acting, physical theatre, dance, yoga, and mindfulness. I hold an advanced diploma in holistic Physical Theatre, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, and yoga teacher certification.
I have long been drawn to the arts and body-based practices as restorative and meaningful ways of understanding myself and the world around me. My own healing journey deepened my passion for helping people move through suffering toward greater wholeness and integration, ultimately leading me to pursue a Master of Psychotherapy and Spirituality at St. Stephen’s College in Edmonton.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, making a mess in the garden, walking through the woods, sharing meals with loved ones, creating art, and laughing at the antics of my daughter, husband, and our three cats and dog.
