Sarah Rausch
As individuals, we live through many different experiences that shape our lives, influencing how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world around us. I believe in the privilege of helping people navigate their complex experiences through a strength-based and trauma-informed care approach. I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and build healthier, more connected lives. My approach focuses on nurturing the therapeutic relationship through empathy, collaboration, cultural sensitivity and evidence-based practices. I strive to create a safe space where clients of all ages feel heard, empowered, and supported.
I work with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, trauma, family transitions, stress, academic concerns, and behavioural and developmental challenges. I tailor therapy to each individual’s needs, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, person-centered, solution focused, and trauma-informed.
My experience includes working in school, community, and clinical settings. I believe in the power of relationships and the importance of meeting people where they’re at — whether that means supporting a child through their emotions, helping a teen explore their identity, exploring varying concerns with adults or working with families to strengthen communication and connection.
