Teen Wellness Group
Six Week Program for Teens 13-17yrs
Thursdays, 6:30-8:00
Starts April 16th
Adolescence is a time of rapid growth — physically, emotionally, socially, and neurologically. It is also a time when young people are developing the coping strategies, self-awareness, and relational skills that will shape their adult lives.
The Teen Wellness Group is designed to support teens in building a strong foundation for lifelong resilience and well-being.
This group offers a structured yet engaging space where teens can:
Strengthen emotional awareness and regulation skills
Develop healthy coping strategies for stress and overwhelm
Build confidence in communication and relationships
Experience connection and support with peers
We use an experiential approach that incorporates art, music, movement, discussion, games, and interactive activities. These modalities allow teens to learn not just intellectually, but through lived experience, which is how meaningful change takes root.
Our goal is not simply to help teens “manage stress,” but to equip them with practical tools, embodied awareness, and relational confidence that they can carry forward into adulthood.
This group provides a supportive and respectful environment where teens are encouraged to explore, connect, and grow at their own pace.
Facilitator: Sasha Seliga
Program Cost: No Cost
*This group is being offered in partnership with the St. Albert Family Resource Centre and funded generously by the St. Albert Community Foundation.
