Schema Therapy

Schema therapy is a newer type of therapy that combines elements of CBT, psychoanalysis, attachment theory, and Emotion focused therapy among others.

Its integrative approach aims to treat mental health concerns and personality disorders that don’t always respond to other treatment options. Schema therapy enables changes in clients who feel hopeless about their self-destructive patterns.

Schema therapy aims to address and resolve long-term psychological issues.

In schema therapy, clients frequently become better able to develop a greater sense of self-worth, explore methods of constructing nurturing relationships and develop and achieve goals to work toward healthy and happy experiences.
