Spiritually-Integrated

Spiritually-Integrated Psychotherapy is based on an understanding that spirituality (whether it is expressed through a religious framework or not, in traditional or nontraditional forms), is an integral thread woven through the fabric of the human experience. Research in the area of Spiritually-Integrated Psychotherapy has investigated the ways in which spirituality may be a resource for one’s health and well-being. Practitioners who integrate this approach in their work are open to conversations with clients about their spirituality, can assess the role of spirituality in both their problems and solutions, and may help client’s draw on spiritual resources in times of stress.
