Yes, men have emotions! That can be okay and even empowering, depending on the ways we connect with and process them. This therapy group is for men who want to explore how emotions relate to their experiences. We’ll work together to develop an understanding of how emotions work and how we can use them productively in everyday life and relationships. Each week the facilitator will share some information about emotions. Jesse will also share strategies to help you better connect with your own emotions, and learn how to respond to others’ emotions in your personal and professional life. The group will also spend time in conversation, supporting each other on a path to greater emotional awareness and understanding. Discussing emotions in a supportive group can help build the language and confidence to express your emotions with others in your life. This group is for men 18-99 - no previous experience in a group is needed. We will all be learning together.

Note: This program includes an individual intake session for 1 hr prior to starting the program.

Program Cost: 75.00 (2hrs) x 8 weeks = $600.00

Note: Group therapy with a Registered Psychologist is covered by many insurance plans. Please speak with your insurance provider to inquire if your plan will cover the cost of the group.

Payment and Cancellation Policy for Programs

Initial Payment

When you confirm your registration with our admin team, you will pay a $75 administrative fee to secure your spot in the program. This fee is non-refundable. When the remainder of the program fee is due, this administrative fee will be put towards your balance. We will require a credit card on file at the time of registration*.

Final Payment

You will be charged the entire program fee (less the 75.00 administrative fee) 2 weeks before the start of the program (or the next business day). Once the full program fee is charged, it is non-refundable.

Receipts

When the full program fee is charged to your credit card, we will send you a receipt by email. You will also receive individual receipts on the actual dates of the program. This is important because for insurance purposes**, your provider may require a separate invoice for each session, rather than the full receipt for payment provided at registration.

*Payments for programs are taken by credit card. If you require a different payment method, please advise our admin team.

**Group mental health programs are sometimes covered by insurance plans. Please speak with your insurance provider to inquire if your plan will cover the cost of this program. Important information to provide them will also be the designation of the group facilitator.
